We have reduced our child admission price for the summer, in line with the reduction in VAT. The summer child price is £2.63 (from £3) and is valid from 25th June to 1st September. It’s not much but every little helps! All our admissions go to help maintain the grounds and the ruins, a scheduled monument, for you to enjoy.
Our grounds are a peaceful place for families to visit. We don’t have a playground, but we do have lots of open space, green lawns and shady spots, woodland to explore, sticks to pick up and four bridges over the river Stiffkey on which to play Pooh sticks. Take care near water!
Visitors are more than welcome to picnic in the grounds.
